Hey Amy!
Thank you so much for the workshop this weekend in Calgary! It was incredible. I learned so much and was so inspired. It made the acting business seem more real - an actual business that you can learn how to navigate, not a magical lottery. I walked away with more tools both as an artist and as a businessperson. These new, very practical tools have given me the ability to fully commit to making this path a reality. I was offered two more acting classes to teach in the fall at the Citadel Theatre School in Edmonton and Sunday night I told them no.

So this summer I will look into green card laws and learn the Standardized American accent, so that in the autumn I can take that leap to LA. Taking this workshop was both exciting and empowering. Thank you so much for the experience. You are amazing!

Hi Amy,
I just wanted to tell you: thank you so much for your advice at the workshop last weekend. Throughout the past week a lot of it has really sunk in. I also wanted to tell you that it wasn't just your words of advice at the workshop that moved me. Listening to you talk about the business helped to cement the "LA world" into my mind as a real place. It's so important to hear that you can make it in LA, even if you are in Calgary starting out. So, thank you so much for being such an inspiration.

I trust you found your way home safe and sound. I have to tell you it was such a pleasure meeting you this weekend. I find life interesting in that we meet so many people in a day, month, year, lifetime... yet, few of these connections truly stick. It's like water off a duck's back normally. (Please note: I am not gay, nor am I kissing your ass in saying this. I hope you sit in this awhile and truly absorb what I am saying) you are a confident, beautiful, incredibly intelligent woman, with an angelic beautiful soul. Your energy is unbelievably clean, fun, and intoxicating. Your ability to unconditionally share yourself and your journey is breathtaking. You have a special gift in reading people, understanding the human condition, and truly unconditionally loving people. You absolutely shine!! My wish for you is that you find and relish complete peace and ultimate happiness in your life. I felt such an immediate connection spiritually with you it was fun. I look forward to having a martini and raising the roof with you one day. I just wanted you to know how you have enhanced and enriched my life through this weekend journey. Life is short and sometimes we don't get a second chance to share how we feel. I really wanted to share that & with any luck life will put us back in the room together again one day soon!

It was great Peter! It was so good to have her input from a "ball-breaking" point of view, but I still didn't think she was all that hard on us, even when she said she would be. I learned so much, and she made it easy. All the information she gave was excellent, her style is just regular person, I'm who I am, and take me or screw off. Great! Awesome!

Hey Peter,
Thanks again Peter for getting Amy up here for us, and for all the work you put into the weekend. It was so helpful. And please thank Amy for kicking our butts (ha ha ha)! Seriously though, I did learn a lot from her workshop. She was "tough" on us, without being mean, and I really appreciate the way she pushed us to go deeper and further and take bigger risks. It was definitely something I needed to hear for sure! Now I'm looking forward to putting it to use!
